LAST MAN STANDING IS BACK - 16th OCTOBER 2021

We are kicking off the 2021 Last Man Standing competition this weekend.

If you would like to enter please contact Davie Hayes by email greenislandlms@btinternet.com with your selection by 7pm Friday 15th October 2021. Payment of £10 can be taken from your GGC Bar Card, Bank Transfer to D Hayes Monza 04-00-04 62185505, or cash in an envelope behind the bar with Last Man Standing and your name for the attention of Davie Hayes.

A copy of the game rules have been attached below and a link for the fixtures for the Premier League. For the first week only any draws will be treated as a win and you will progress on to round 2. Following that you must win to stay in the competition.

Note that 50% of all money received will continue to go towards the maintenance and upkeep of the club as per previous years and 50% to the last person left standing(regardless of number of people entered).

RULES

1 It’s simple, just pick the winner of one (1) Premier League match each week. If your selection wins you progress to the next week, lose or draw and you are out of that tournament.

2 The entry fee is £10.00 which will cover you for the tournament

3 You cannot pick the same team to win more than once during the tournament (until 20 rounds have been completed)

4 Once you e-mail your selection you will not be able to change it.

5 All selections must be received by e-mail, no later than 17.00 on the Friday before games being played in a weekends round of fixtures which can include a Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday. For midweek rounds where the first game kicks off at 7.45pm or later, all selections must be in by 17.00 on the first day of the fixtures.

6 Should you forget to make your selection by 17.00 in any week and are still standing, you will automatically be assigned the first team that you have not selected in alphabetical order. Once a team is automatically selected, you will not have the ability to change the selection.

7 In the event that any match involving a team you have selected is postponed or cancelled for any reason, you will continue to the next round. However, that team will no longer be available for selection.

8 A new tournament will commence once the final entry standing has been determined

9 Should two or more participants remain standing and all are eliminated in the same week, the Last Man Standing prize will be distributed equally among them.

10 Rounds of fixtures may take place on weekends or mid-week, depending on available fixtures. Fixtures will be issued one week in advance.
